- It is all about what Jesus did as an example of relationships and discipleship.
- He prayed and started a Small Group of 12 people.
- He gave His thoughts, life, dreams and plans to them.
Following after His Resurrection, He gave them
"The Great Commission."
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
(Matthew 28:19-20 KJV)
Simply put, the Vision of 12 happens when when a trained and approved leader, serving under the spiritual authority of the lead pastor, gives spiritual oversight to 12 others for the purpose of discipleship and personal evangelism for the Glory of God.
A Small Group is where two or more people meet together to pray, to study the Word of God and to disciple one another to be disciplers of others.
